It is easy to forget in today’s fast-paced world the importance of
the many thinkers and pioneers who have made modern-day
technologies possible. This website is dedicated to their contributions.
Some
of the Pioneers of Instrumentation include:

Pioneers
of Flow Measurement: Founding the Technologies of Today
Just
as there were in previous centuries, there are pioneers of instrumentation
alive today who will be remembered for their contributions. As
part of its ongoing research studies Flow Research routinely
interviews
contemporary pioneers of instrumentation to better understand how they
came to their discoveries and how they built their companies.
In the past, we have interviewed the founder(s) of Sierra Instruments,
Fluid Components Int’l, Kurz Instruments, and McCrometer.
Most of these interviews have been published in the Market
Barometer, which is part of the Worldflow
Monitoring Service. Our
plan is to continue this series, so you can look forward to future
interviews in the Market Barometer.
If
you would like to receive any issues of the Market Barometer that contain
these interviews, please let us know.
You can also access them as part of Worldflow
Online.
